Buffalo Trace has announced that is now limiting the number of bottles visitor’s can buy of Eagle Rare and E.H.Taylor Small Batch. When someone buys a bottle they will then have to wait a full three calendar months before they can purchase another bottle. This news should not really come as much of a surprise as they have already had these restrictions in place for the purchase of Blanton’s and Weller Special Reserve.
This will hopefully cut way down on the number of people lining up every morning at the distillery to buy bottles and flip them to make a few extra bucks. On many days visitors to the distillery were having to leave empty handed after their tours because the allocated stock for the gift shop was already sold out for the day.
